Alameda County Citizens Academy

Welcome to the Alameda County Citizen’s Academy application page.

The Alameda County Academy is open to residents, employees and business owners of Alameda County. The Academy consist of six Wednesday, three hour sessions 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. held at various locations in Alameda County. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with consideration given to geographic location to ensure representation of all five Board of Supervisors districts.

The sessions are as follows:

- Session 1 - September 20: Welcome
- Session 2 - September 27: Public Safety and First Response
- Session 3 - October 11: Regional Economic Vitality and Caring for Our Citizens
- Session 4 - October 18: Law and Justice
- Session 5 - November 1: Sustainability and Safety Net Services
- Session 6 - November 8: How to Get Involved and *Graduation

*To graduate participants MUST complete five of the six scheduled sessions.
