Alameda County Department of Child Support Services Public Education and Outreach Campaign

The Public Education and Outreach Campaign was created by the Alameda County Department of Child Support Services to better educate the community on our services. We hope to open the lines of communication and raise public awareness regarding our mission to establish paternity, medical and child support orders, collect child and spousal support payments, enforce medical support orders and modify court orders as appropriate. We want to provide the public with information on what to do when involved in the child support system.

In striving to provide the community with the best possible service, we offer presentations that outline our services and office procedures. We have a variety of PowerPoint Presentations and videos tailored to meet the needs of the audience. We have a team of experienced child support caseworkers that caters to our diverse community. We can tailor our presentation to meet the needs of your organization. Each presentation is approximately 50 minutes long, followed by a question and answer session. Our Outreach Team is represented at many community events and fairs. We are equipped with brochures, pamphlets, case opening applications and other information, as well as available to answer general questions.

We can provide referral services to agencies that may be able to assist customers with issues we can not handle, such as custody and visitation, employment services, related legal issues.
