Complaint Resolution

In July 2001 the California Department of Child Support Services established a new procedure for assisting custodial parties and non-custodial parents with resolution of issues regarding their child support case. At the Alameda County Department of Child Support Services, the staff of the Ombudsperson team works with custodial parties and non-custodial parents to explain their rights and responsibilities and assists in the complaint resolution process.
