The Human Resource Services Department is located at the Lakeside Plaza Building, 1405 Lakeside Drive (ground floor at corner of Oak and Lakeside), Oakland. You may park your car in the ALCO-PARK Garage, 1221 Jackson Street (between 12th and 13th Sreets), Oakland which is located approximately one block and a half from Lakeside Plaza. If you plan to take BART, get off at the Lake Merritt Station; we are approximately five blocks away.

Taking BART
From San Francisco, Richmond, or Concord lines, take Fremont train or the necessary train connections to reach Lake Merritt Station located between Eighth and Ninth Street; walk up Oak Street to 14th Street.

From Fremont/Hayward/San Leandro, coming off 880 North
Take Oak Street exit and turn right on Oak Street;drive to 14th and Oak Streets;turn left on 14th Street and find a parking meter or parking lot.

From Livermore East County Area, going North on 580, and from San Francisco and Berkeley, coming off 80 and/or 580
Go to 980 going towards San Jose (South); sign also states Downtown; get off at Jackson Street Exit; cross Jackson Street and cross Madison Street; turn left on Oak Street and drive to 14th and Oak Streets; turn left on 14th Street and find a parking meter or parking lot.

From Contra Costa County, coming through Caldecott Tunnel
Go to 980 in direction of downtown; sign also states San Jose (South); get off at Jackson Street Exit; cross Jackson Street and cross Madison Street; turn left on Oak Street and drive to 14th and Oak Streets; turn left on 14th Street and find a parking meter or parking lot.
