Alameda County Citizens Academy

Welcome to the Alameda County Citizen’s Academy application page.

The Alameda County Citizens Academy is open to people who live, work or own businesses in Alameda County. The Academy consist of six Wednesday, three hour sessions 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. held at various locations in Alameda County. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with consideration given to geographic location to ensure representation of all five Board of Supervisors districts. Maximum class size is 60 people.

The sessions are as follows:

Session 1 - September 23 : Alameda County – Our Mission, Vision 2026, & Purpose
Session 2 - September 30 : Safe & Livable Communities
Session 3 - October 07 : Safe & Livable Communities
Session 4 - October 14 : Prosperous & Vibrant Economy
Session 5 - October 21 : Thriving & Resilient Population
Session 6 - October 28 : 10X Goals and You – Empowering the Community

*To graduate participants MUST complete five of the six scheduled sessions.
