And the winners are...

Alameda County and its residents. Because the challenge brought together developers, activists, citizens, and designers to make apps that would benefit the communities of Alameda County, the real winners of ACApps Challenge 2013.1 were Alameda County and its residents .

A total of 20 teams presented their app ideas. After much debate, the judges decided that the winning app at the challenge was Green By Me. The app shows a map of green businesses in Alameda County and allows users to check-in at those businesses and earn badges. Congratulations to the Green By Me team!!
