My Story

Jennifer Krill is an environmental activist whose work to convince companies and individuals to change their habits helps to protect the earth for future generations. Jennifer is Executive Director of Earthworks, leading the nonprofit organization's worldwide efforts to protect communities from the impacts of mining and fossil fuel extraction. Previously, she directed campaigns for the Rainforest Action Network that convinced large lumber and paper companies to adopt landmark policies to protect old growth forests. She also led a campaign that prompted Home Depot to end purchases of endangered wood products and worked to convince the nation's largest banks to stop financing climate change-causing industries. Jennifer serves on the board of Plug-In America, an effort to encourage the use of electric vehicles as a pathway to ending America's reliance on fossil fuels.
