Vanessa Hanley Lordi of Livermore is an accomplished runner whose athletic pursuits include recruiting women to participate in high-level track, cross country and road racing programs. Vanessa is vice president of the West Valley Track club, Northern California's oldest track club, and she has spearheaded expanded recruitment of women into the Club's programs to help runners reach their athletic potential. Vanessa rises each day at 4:30 a.m. to lead workouts before spending a 10-hour day as a Product Manager at Agilent Technologies. Vanessa's career as an elite runner includes competing in track at Princeton University and she is dedicated to helping young women with advice on balancing academics with athletics, and striving for success in all aspects of life.
