Kristin Groos Richmond is co-founder and CEO of Revolution Foods, an Oakland headquartered company that serves over 2 million healthy, affordable meals a week in more than 2,500 schools and community sites across the nation. Kristin took an indirect path to Revolution Foods. She was once one of the first women to work for Citibank in her investment banking group. She later moved to Nairobi, where she co-founded a community school. It was at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business that she and a fellow student hatched the idea of Revolution Foods, envisioning a revolutionary venture that would ensure all children have access to healthy food.
