Employee-Only Shuttle
The County's Clean Commute Program provides services and incentives to encourage County employees to leave their cars at home or carpool to work, including an employee-only shuttle. The Oakland County Center shuttle assists County staff commuting from Lake Merritt and 12th St. BART stations to reach the County headquarters and surrounding offices.
About the Shuttle Program
We work to make access to County facilities more convenient for visitors and employees. The Oakland County Center shuttle was launched in October 2009. Support for the Fairmont/Juvenile Justice shuttle service, launched in April 2010, included a $280,000 grant from the Alameda County Congestion Management Authority. The Hayward shuttle was launched in May 2013. Support for the Embarcadero Cove shuttle, launched in January 2015, came from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. The East Oakland shuttle was launched in December 2016.
