My Story

Dianne Fukami is a producer and director for Bridge Media, a media production company she co-founded in 1994 following her career at KPIX television where she worked in a variety of management roles. Bridge Media produces prolific documentaries highlighting Asian American experiences and leaders, but also creates storytelling videos for iconic Alameda County institutions including Asian Health Services and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. Dianne was a founding chapter member of the regional Asian American Journalists Association and has received many prestigious awards including a regional Emmy Award, and was honored with the 2022 Japanese American Biennium Award for her contributions in Arts/Literature/Communications by the national Japanese American Citizens League.
