Alameda County's Energy Program has been recognized nationally for excellence in energy conservation and renewable energy. Check out some of our awards:

  • 2009 Top 20 Green Power Partner, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, recognizes top 20 U.S. organizations generating green power
  • City Solar Award, Northern California Solar Association, Most Total Watts of Solar, includes residents, businesses, and government facilities within County borders (as of December 31, 2007, awarded April 2009)
  • 2007 Crown Community Award, American City and County Magazine—Fuel Cell Project
