Restoring creeks, like Peralta Creek, and conserving water at County facilities are among the County's actions to preserve our water resources.
Water is essential for all life. At the County, we take action and build partnerships to prevent water pollution, restore our creeks, restore wildlife habitat, and protect residents and property from flooding. We also recognize that the amount of energy used to pump, treat, and heat the water we use every day contributes to climate change. Saving water in and around County buildings preserves this essential resource, saves energy, and saves money.
