Eden General Plan & Castro Valley General Plan Common Boundary
The Alameda County Community Development Agency has been updating its Eden Area and Castro Valley General Plans through a public process over the last several years. Concerns have recently been raised by citizens regarding the proposed shifting of General Plan Boundaries in the El Portal Ridge area. In response to these concerns, a series of public meetings has been scheduled to discuss this issue. Information on these meetings is included here.
The documents that have been developed by the Agency that describes the concerns raised can be accessed through links below. In addition, a series of maps have been created that show the area in question, various service area boundaries, existing and proposed General Plan boundaries, and the map of the El Portal Ridge area are available for your reference.
